Service Description
This course will begin October 6, 2026. There will be 8 sessions that meet for 90 minutes. The meeting time for the course sessions will be determined and posted in August. This course is designed for smaller groups of students who need to strengthen their reading abilities. The course will focus on building foundational reading skills, including vocabulary development, understanding text structure, and improving comprehension. Students will engage with a variety of texts to practice identifying main ideas, supporting details, and making inferences. The goal is to develop confident and independent readers by providing strategies and individualized support in a supportive learning environment. Note: The start date is subject to change within one-week of published date.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 8-WEEK COURSES The English Skills Center understands that circumstances may arise which require cancellation of a course. To ensure clarity and fairness for all participants, the following cancellation policy has been established: 1. Notification of Cancellation: Please notify The English Skills Center of the intent to cancel a course registration. Notification should be sent to, learn@tescstl.com, and should include the student's full name, class name, and reason for withdrawal if possible. 2. Refund Policy: Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the following schedule: >Full Deposit Refund: Cancellation notified 14-days before the first class session. >Partial Deposit Refund (50% of Deposit): Cancellation notified 7-days before the first class session until the day of the first class session. >No Deposit Refund: Cancellation notified on the day of the first class session. 3. Non-Attendance: Failure to attend classes does not constitute an official cancellation. Students must adhere to the notification procedure outlined above to initiate a cancellation. 4. Disbursement of Materials: Any course materials, textbooks, or resources provided to the student must be returned in good condition upon cancellation. Failure to return these items may result in additional charges. By enrolling in this course, the paying party and/or the enrolled student acknowledges their understanding and acceptance of this cancellation policy.
