Service Description

The Film Series Program is designed to help high school seniors boost their language skills through a range of films. Students have the opportunity to watch and discuss films, while enhancing their reading, writing, listening, and speaking abilities in an interactive group setting. The program includes analytical exercises and organized discussions to explore each film's themes and language. This approach encourages critical thinking and builds strong communication skills. Students receive feedback and support within the group, as well as individually. This program intends to develop skills for having discussions at a high school level, college level, and employment level with developing an understanding of different perspectives. The English Skills Center invites high school seniors to be part of this journey and see how films can enhance language comprehension and communication skills. Students must be 17 years or older to attend this class. If the student is 17 years old, parents must submit permission for the student to attend.
